If I were to blame someone or something for the outcast deaths I would blame the bad luck. I will blame it on the bad luck because Earth does now when a storm but it informs it when it is already coming or occurring. Also it is on the bad luck because sometimes you have a good luck and sometimes you just don’t that is just how life is. Also in the story it said that one day it snowed and then the sun came out. But a day before Tom left it snowed but it wasn’t that bad. But when he left the storm got really bad and the rest of the people died. So the weather was their bad luck. Unfortunately they barley got good luck. So in my opinion I think that I will blame it on the bad luck.

The Story of an Hour

In this story I like how the woman was being happy that her husband was going to die. She also was planning all the good days she will be having fun without her husband being there. For me I think i will do the same because if I'm tired of being with my husband the best thing that can happen is him to die. But at the end of this story the husband did not die and the woman died of a heart attack. So for me the family just made a plan and they wanted to see how she will react.The point of this story is if you feel something coming wait until it happens or else it will be a truly surprise.

The Blind Man

This was my favorite of all three stories. I liked it because it was a poor man that no one cared about. I liked it because you see the sequence on what the old man is doing on what he see or hears. What i didn't like is that the characters were super mean because they do not care of people that are poor. The only thing they care about is about rich people. This story is telling us that people do not care of what disability people have but what they care of is for them to get out of your property or business. What i didn't like is people not even saying anything to that poor blind man.

Desiree's Baby

The story of Desiree was so good story. It had a lot of drama. What I mean about drama is racism. Back then people treated black people really bad. But in this story it was about Desiree getting married and having a black baby. So what the husband did is tell her to leave. But as days past he found out he was black. So the point of this is do not judge a person before you get your background straight.In my opinion I liked it because it includes lots of details. Also racism for me is not important but i think if you find something out it does not matter if you are black or white you need to have the ability to tell people the truth and not keep it to yourself.

"Dr. Heidegger's Experiment"

As I was in my office sitting in the chair. I had my old friends Mr.Medbourne, Colonel Kinlligre, Mr Gascoigne, and Widow Wycherly. They were arguing about who had Widow Wycherly first. So out of no where I had a 50 year old rose and I had a cup of water that came from the Fountain of Youth. As a few seconds past I saw that the 50 year old rose revived. I had a shocked on my face.Also did my friends. And they saw the rose i told them if they tried to try it. As a response they said of coarse I want to be young again.

But before i pored the water in the cup I told them what ever happens it is to them it is not his fault because he does not know the side effects it had. Then as i poured the water in the cup they just graved it and drank it all. As they started to notice they were changing but they still felt kind of old. So they wanted more. So I filled the cups again and they drank it. All of a sudden a big commotion. They were laughing at me because i was old. When Widow asked me out to dance I told her no and that was when everybody started to get all over her because one said it was his and the other ones said the same thing. As i was observing my mirrors all over my office I saw that they were old people arguing with each other. I concluded that other people can see them old in a mirror but they can't.

As I looked back at the rose in the cup it started to go dead again. I was oohh no. Then as few minutes past Mr Medbourne, Colonel Killigre, Mr. Gascoigne, and Widow Wycherly became old again and they were so mad. I explain to them that it was not my fault. So at the end they decided to go to Florida and go to the Fountain of Youth. But for me I concluded that even though if you get a second chance you will still be the same and would not change the way they are.

"Desiree's Baby" The Sequel

Write a sequel to "Desiree's Baby"

His eyes went wide open he did not know what to do. He thought to himself if he should tell, go back with his wife Desiree and the baby and explain everything, or just keep his life the way it is without no one knowing and burn the letter. Then all of a sudden a negro came in and said;

"Sir do we prepare lunch"

Armand said " go awayand don't come back"

Armand was so confused on what to say. Armand saved the letter where he found it and he just went outside for a walk. He thought and thought. He took a some weeks, months on what to do. But at the end Armand decided that he will go back with his wife and kid. But he will tell her what he found and not to tell anybody nobody becuase he will ruin he reputation and he will not have any power because he was part of a negro. So as years past Desiree didn't say anything but he told Armand to not mistreat negro's because he was part of one. And if he did she will say the truth and everbody will now. As the baby grew up Desiree and Armand sat with the kid and told him that they were the real father but Armand's background was just not being known. At the end Armand and Desiree started to teach all the negros how to read and write and give them some freedom. And they lived happily ever after.

Flowers for Algernon

If you were given a choice to have an operation that would make you much smarter, would you do it, especially if you know the effects of the surgery would only be temporary? Why or why not? Use examples from the story.

In my opinion, I think that I will not do the operation. I will not do the operations for many reasons. One example is if I were dumb why will I want to be smart for just a little while. Also if I were born dumb then that is just the way I am. My third reason is if i were dumb and i want to be smart I want it to be permanent because then what is the point of it. Do I really think I want to be smart?

For example if I were dumb, why will I want to be smart for just a little while. One thing is I will not get anything out of it because I will not remember anything. Also being smart is really not you because you were not born to be smart. Another reason for this is doing an operation will only help you become a better person but then you will still be the same kid that will have no friends. I will like to be me.

So if I were born dumb I will like to be me. For example if you really want to be smart then you have to do it yourself not with the help of an operation. You can do this by having you own competition and reading. Another example is if I do an operation I want it to be permanent.I will like it to be permanent becuase then I will be smart for ever and dir smart. So in my opinion I will not want to do an operation.

In the story it gives us examples of family, age, and beauty. We know that each other these things happens. But in the story it does not it tells us the complete opposite. For example we know that a family supports each other in the bad and good thing and help each other out. But in the story family is people that just worry about the society and how they look in front of people. For example Mr. Button kept on saying what will people think when they see his 70 year old baby. Also the story said that Benjamin was alone and that his parents were barley in his life. In my opinion this type of family is a family that just think on how they look and not what they really have to feel about their own family.

Another example the story gave us was the age. Well we know that we all grow to grow old. But in the story it gave the opposite. What I mean is in the story one baby was born to be 70 year old baby and as years past you keep on getting younger. For example in the story it said that as Benjamin started becoming younger he almost looked like his father. So you could identify them as brothers. So this means the age in the story make you process things that you already know and then you end with nothing. So you do not remember anything that happened to you and you will just die as a baby just seeing the dark.In my opinion I think that the age in the story weird.

Beauty is another thing people look at. Beauty for us is something that just tell us if we look young with no wrinkles if we look good. But in the story it tells us the complete opposite. It tells us that beauty is very important that you just have look at yourself and see that your face is so beautiful that you look perfect. For example in the story it says that Benjamin kept looking at is face and noticing that he is becoming younger and he just wants to dance with young girls and leaving his wife. So beauty in the story is having a beauty that makes you a person to look at. SO the story just gives us the complete opposite and with different thinkings.

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Chapter 3-7

After reading Chapters 3-7, predict three problems you think Benjamin will encounter and give your solutions for each.


One problem that Benjamin will encounter will be with his wife. We know that he does not like her no more and he can't stand her. Also his wife screams at him because he keeps on getting younger. We also know that she does not understand that's the way he was born . One solution to this problem is for them to take therapy and with out screaming and fighting tell his wife that it is normal. By doing this it will keep he family together but with a father and husband becoming younger.

Another problem that Benjamin will encounter is he will panic when he gets to a baby because that will be the last day of his life. We know that each time he keeps on realizing that he keeps getting younger each time. To solve this problem Benjamin will have to maybe go to visit an expert doctor and explain to him why that happened to him and what can he do to prevent from dying as a baby.

The last problem that can happen to Benjamin is he will have problems with his parent. We know that it took them a long time to love him and care about him. As a solution Benjamin can go talk to his parents and say that no matter if he was born old that they should not feel sorry that their kid died as a baby. He will have to say this because they will have to understand that what ever happened was not their fault.

Roger is so overly concerned with how Benjamin looks and is worried about what people are going to say. What should he do?

In my opinion I think what Roger should do is just in front the people and family. He should say that the baby is his son and that is how he came out to be. Also that his family has to be supported so the kid should not feel different. Another thing that Roger can do is he should not worry if people talk about the baby but what he needs to have is to think that everything is normal and that he is proud that he is a father with an 70 year old baby. Roger can also should not care in what society he is because what counts is that you have a family that loves each other.

The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Chapter 1

What would you have done if you were Roger Button in Chapter 1?

If I were Roger Button and saw my child as an old man. I will first probably have a heart attack. I mean having a baby that big I don't think so. That baby was too big and old to be my child. I will scream and yell that I will prefer my baby being dead than having an old born baby. Also what I would have done was if he was my son I will send him on his own. So in my opinion he could die with me not feeling sorry. Also knowing that he is my son I will not buy him clothes at all!! So he has do his own things. Also he will have to be in the streets, work and do what ever he want to do because i did not create that monster(big old man baby). Also I will adopt a real baby and say it is mine for my family can see that my baby came out so cute and adorable. And that baby I will my real baby not an adopted.
